RFID for Wine industry

The taste of wine depends on the quality of grape and the ageing process. When the grapes are picked up they are graded and transported in crates. RFID tags can be attached to the crates and they can be sorted on the conveyor with RFID readers. During the manufacture of wine the vats can be RFID tagged and attributes of the contents can be regularly monitored in the manufacturing warehouses.

The returnable crates and reverse logistic operations become easier.
